I will be devastated if Higuain leaves. I guess only at Real Madrid does a striker with 25 goals so far this season still not make the starting line-up…but if the men up stairs think we need somebody like Aguero as opposed to Pipita, then they are so very wrong.
His goal against Espanyol in 2007 unofficially won us La Liga, putting us back at the top of the league for the first time in almost two years. His goal against Osasuna in 2008 officially won us the league. Every game he’s played for Madrid has won our hearts.
Gonzalo, please stay.
